A Double J
Outfitters is owned by full time outfitters who
attempt to participate in all hunts.

We have over
20 years of experience hunting the back country
of the Big Horn Mountains.

Our owners
spend approximately 7 months each year in the
mountain areas that we hunt and have a day to
day opportunity to observe wild game patterns.

Our guides are
knowledgeable and professional with several
years of experience to offer our clients.

Hunts are
limited to 6-8 hunters per week on private land
hunts. Mountain elk, moose and deer hunts are
typically limited to 4-6 hunters per week.

Mountain hunts
for elk, moose, and deer are conducted from our
high-mountain camps consisting of wall tents
with wood and propane stoves for heating and
cooking. Cots and mattress are supplied as well
as lanterns.

Deer,
antelope, turkey and buffalo hunts are conducted
from our headquarters near Buffalo, WY, with
comfortable, full amenity accommodations.
We take great care and
interest in accommodating hunters of all skill
levels, and we go the extra mile to educate and
promote the hunting experience with young and
inexperienced hunters.
