Guided Archery
Hunts |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
| We offer archery hunts for elk,
moose, mule deer, whitetail deer
and Pronghorn antelope. Most of our
elk archery hunts are within 5-6
miles of the camp. We normally hunt elk
using the
camp as a base. Deer and antelope archery
hunts are all conducted using our exclusive
leases of private ranch land. |

|
Elk Hunting
Early every morning and late afternoon
we glass high mountain meadows for elk. Mid-days are spent bugling and
cow-calling to locate bulls. The bulls
usually start rutting by early-September.
Early September, we spend a lot of time hunting
near wallows and timber. Later in the
season, we spend more time glassing for both
cows and bulls.

|
Deer Hunting
Most of our deer hunting is
conducted using spot and stalk methods.
However, our whitetail hunting is during the rut
which allows us to get in closer for more
successful shots.

|
|
Antelope Hunting
Pronghorn antelope
hunting is conducted near watering holes and
from ground blinds near feeding areas and travel
areas.

Archery Hunting Attire
It is best to wear layers
clothing with camouflage
outerwear, since the temperatures may fluctuate,
sometimes to extremes, in this area of Wyoming
in September. It is best to be prepared for
these changing conditions.
